How I started my online business
I started a part-time side hustle in 2009 as a business manager & bookkeeper. In October 2014, while on a two-week vacation in the Outer Banks, I made the decision to leave my full-time position as an elected Revenue Collector to pursue my dream of being a full-time business consultant and grew it into a full-time business in 2014 as a business management & accounting firm. I gave myself a year to grow this new business to be successful, which for me meant having an income to cover my expenses and earn a decent living. For the next year, I worked double-duty, working my job days and building my business in the evenings (and sometimes well into the wee hours of the morning!) but it was all worth it! Since then, I've re-branded, re-focused, and find that working with clients and helping them break through their "brick wall" issues fuels my passion and brings me great joy.
I have worked with all types of entrepreneurs including coaches, consultants, financial professionals, creatives, entertainers, healthcare professionals, legal teams, and even politicians.
Prior to holding political office, I was the assistant manager at a local general store, director of human resources for a health care agency, and an administrative assistant at a junior/senior high school.

I'm the proud mother to 5 wonderful grown children, grandma to 7 beautiful grandchildren; wife to a man who supports all my dreams; and 1 of 7 children that grew up in an era of The Waltons, Mary Tyler Moore, disco music, Saturday morning cartoons, and 8 track players.
Both my parents and 5 of my siblings were entrepreneurs and I'd always dreamed of starting my own business.
After living in New England since birth, I moved to South Carolina with my husband in July 2018. Getting to enjoy the warmer winters and the ocean air has definitely been one of my biggest personal breakthroughs!
Being the CEO of my business gives me the opportunity to follow the loves of my life which include spending quality time with my family & friends; photography; beachcombing; baking & cooking; reading; geocaching; hiking; and traveling
What's on my bucket list?

- Traveling around the US in an RV with my husband - some of the trips I've planned include traveling along the Oregon Trail and visiting all the US National Parks
- Publishing at least one book
- Travel across Canada by train
- Try my hand at pottery
- Take a cruise (or two) - I have my eye on several including summer in Alaska and winter in the Caribbean
